- It takes only 4 ingredients all of which you can easily find in your local grocery store. You may already have everything you need in your pantry.

- It’s kid friendly. The flavors are mild yet tasty for all ages.
- It comes out great every time. No guess work with this recipe.
- It’s a slightly modified version of the one found on the Stove Top box. I’ve noticed through the years that recipes attached to products are usually very good. And this one doesn’t disappoint.
Ingredients
Ground beef: This Best Meatloaf Recipe calls for 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef. This may seem like a lot but we love leftover meatloaf sandwiches. If you only want to use 1 pound of ground beef, then reduce the number of eggs to 2. I’ve not tried it with ground chicken or ground turkey. To be honest, I’ve always thought of meatloaf being made with ground beef only.
Stove Top Stuffing: I like to use chicken flavored stuffing but any flavor will work.
Eggs: This Best Meatloaf Recipe calls for 3 large eggs. However, as mentioned above, if you use only 1 pound of ground beef, use 2 large eggs instead.
Ketchup: Any brand of ketchup will work. This Best Meatloaf Recipe suggests you divide the 1/2 cup of ketchup. The first 1/4 cup goes in the mixture and the second 1/4 cup goes on top. However, I have made it many times putting the full 1/2 cup ketchup in the mixture then spreading more on top before baking. It makes the meatloaf more moist and flavorful, in my opinion.
This recipe is adapted from the one on the box of Stove Top Stuffing.
