Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 ounces) 1 frozen sweet peas

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 chopped dill pickles

  • 2 Tablespoons 2 butter, softened

  • 1 Tablespoon 1 dill pickle juice

  • 1-2 teaspoons 1-2 honey

Directions

  • Prepare peas according to package directions, drain.
  • Add chopped pickles, pickle juice, butter and honey; toss to coat.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overcook peas; they should be crisp tender when done. Overdone peas will lose their bright green color and much of their fresh flavor.
